ParkWorks
ParkWorks remains committed to defining, prioritizing and
delivering community development agendas in Cleveland’s neighborhoods,
downtown and University Circle. We are leading public space creation
and sustainable development efforts throughout Cleveland, and working
with other nonprofits engaged in similar work. Through the development
and expansion of public and green spaces, we promote neighborhood and
downtown revitalization. We continue to build our reputation as
results-driven and use our depth of resources, passion, ability to
collaborate and expertise in order to deliver tangible results.
ParkWorks’ agenda is built around four major program areas:
Neighborhoods, Downtown, Greater University Circle and Building
Cleveland by Design.
Cleveland Public Art
Cleveland Public Art (CPA) is dedicated to improving the
quality of life and enhancing the economic competitiveness of Cleveland
and its surrounding communities through the highest quality,
site-specific public art and creative urban design. By actively
engaging the public, designers, artists and decision makers, CPA works
collaboratively to create unique places that revitalize neighborhoods
and transform the way people see and experience the city.

AIA Cleveland
The American Institute of Architects
represents the architectural profession and provide resources and tools
to help members meet professional challenges. Notable contributions of
the Cleveland chapter include showcasing speakers of interest and
importance to architects and the community, maintaining connectivity to
national and state organizations, lobbying The Ohio Statehouse and
Capitol Hill and connecting and sustaining the AIA network.
City of Cleveland Sustainability Program

The City of Cleveland Sustainability Program guides the
City of Cleveland on projects related to energy, buildings, fleet and
purchasing. By saving the City money and reducing its environmental
footprint, using sustainability as a tool for economic development and
introducing sustainability principles to city employees, The City of
Cleveland believes it can be more efficient and effective at delivering
quality service to residents and helping to shape Cleveland’s future.
Cleveland Metroparks
Cleveland Metroparks conserves significant natural resources and enhances people’s lives by providing safe, high-quality outdoor education, recreation, and zoological opportunities. Further, Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is committed to improving the future for wildlife.
Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative
The Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative (CUDC) is the
combined home of Kent State University’s graduate program in urban
design and the public service activities of the Urban Design Center of
Northeast Ohio (UDC). The UDC is a community service organization with
a professional staff of designers committed to improving the quality of
urban places through technical design assistance and advocacy as well
as providing urban design expertise in the service of urban
communities, design professionals, and local planning and public policy
work.
Entrepreneurs For Sustainability
Entrepreneurs
For Sustainability (E4S) is unique in its abilities to build community,
teach the practical application of sustainability principles, and
inspire innovative action. Since 2000, the E4S vision and programs have
attracted entrepreneurial thinkers and change agents from business,
government, academia and non-profit sectors of our community. What they
share is a belief that sustainability principles are drivers for new
business opportunities and tools to improve our quality of life.
Together, the E4S Network is building a sustainable economy in
Northeast Ohio.
GreenCityBlueLake Institute
The GreenCityBlueLake Institute of
the Cleveland Museum of Natural History educates the public about the
design of ecological cities and how human beings can live sustainably
on Earth in the 21st Century. The Institute was formed in 2007 from the
merger of the Museum and EcoCity Cleveland. With a focus on urban
design in Ohio, it promotes sustainable land use, energy systems,
transportation systems, buildings, and healthy watersheds. This
complements the Museum’s longstanding work in the region.
Northeast Ohio Chapter of the USGBC
The Northeast Ohio Chapter of the USGBC works to transform the way our buildings and communities are designed, built and operated to improve our quality of life and protect natural resources for future generations. The Chapter strives to become the recognized leader of the sustainable building movement in the region, to assist the local government in implementing sustainable practices and LEED standards, and to provide outstanding sustainable education opportunities for the local design and construction communities.
Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District
The Sewer District’s mission is to serve our customers by leading effective wastewater and stormwater management that protects the health and environment of our region while enhancing quality of life. The District is responsible for wastewater treatment facilities and interceptor sewers in the greater Cleveland Metropolitan Area. This service area encompasses the City of Cleveland and all or portions of 60 suburban municipalities in Cuyahoga, Summit and Lorain Counties and includes a diversified group of manufacturing and processing industries.
Ohio City Near West
Ohio City Near West Development Corporation is a non-profit organization overseeing the community development activities in Ohio City, one of Cleveland’s oldest and most diverse neighborhoods. This culturally rich community is located just across the Cuyahoga River from downtown Cleveland, and is home to more than 15 ethnic groups representing over 10,000 people.
Wendy Park Foundation

The mission of the Wendy Park Foundation is to develop and restore the natural environment at Wendy Park to National Park standards of excellence, facilitate the restoration of the historic Coast Guard Station, integrate Whiskey Island Marina into Wendy Park and to provide public access to Lake Erie through connecting Wendy Park to the Towpath Trail. Further, to create programs and activities that educate the public on Great Lakes ecology, Eco-system sustainability, Maritime heritage, safety and youth training.
